Write a profile of a family member.

 

Task: Write a profile of a person in your family who is important to you.

 

Ideas: Make notes about the family member.

  • his or her name and relationship to you (e.g. mother, uncle, etc.)
  • year of birth
  • early life
  • education
  • achievements
  • why this person is important to you

 

Plan: Organize your ideas into paragraphs.

Paragraph 1: short introduction

Paragraph 2: early life and education

Paragraph 3: main achievements

Paragraph 4: other details and achievements

Paragraph 5: why you admire this person

Remember to use a variety of tenses.

 

Write: Write your profile.

 

Check: Check your spelling, grammar and punctuation.

  1.  Write your task in another program (e.g. Word).
  2.  Save the file to your computer.
  3.  Upload your file.
  4.  If you want to add a note to your teacher, write it in the Comments box.
  5.  Select Submit to Dropbox to send your work to your teacher.
