The under the water hotel, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

The hotel looks like two flat round circles. One is above the water and one is in the water. There are stairs and lifts so you can go upstairs to enjoy the sunshine or downstairs to enjoy the underwater views. The 21 rooms have large windows and there is a fabulous view of underwater sea life. There is

a special lighting and camera system so that you can see all the sea plants and animals whether they are near or far away. Explore the beauty of the deep sea from the comfort of your sofa or bed as jellyfish swim right past your window!

The ice hotel, Jukkasjärvi, Sweden

This is the largest and most famous ice hotel in the world. The hotel is completely made of ice. There are ice beds in the bedrooms. There are ice tables and chairs in the restaurant - even the drinks are in ice glasses! There are pieces of art made from ice and snow in every room. There isn't any heating in the bedrooms, but there are thick sleeping bags to keep you warm at night. Every spring, the ice melts and every winter they build a completely new hotel. You can come back each year for a really different experience!

The Gamirasu cave hotel, Cappadocia, Turkey

This hotel is in a traditional old village. The village is in a beautiful green valley famous for its fruit trees and far away from any other towns or cities. The hotel rooms are in caves in the side of the mountain. There are 6 cave houses with 18 large rooms. Each room is different and decorated in traditional Turkish style with beautiful rugs and furniture. Even during the heat of the day, the rooms are cool, dark and quiet. Enjoy some local home-made food under the trees in the beautiful gardens around the hotel. This is a perfect place to explore the countryside in Cappadocia.
